The Tasmanian Association of Pinball Players (TAPP) is a community-driven initiative dedicated to promoting pinball across Tasmania. At TAPP, our passion for pinball goes beyond just playing; we’re committed to fostering a vibrant community where players of all levels can come together, compete, and grow.

TAPP’s new season starts on Friday, January 31st, with the 2025 Season Kick-Off Tournament at the Pat Murnane Memorial Hall, Lenah Valley.
It’s a fresh start for the leaderboard and the perfect opportunity for anyone to get involved—whether you’re a long-time player or just curious to give pinball a try. Come along to make friends, sharpen your skills, and enjoy the social and competitive side of pinball in a fun and welcoming environment.
This event will feature games from some of our members’ personal collections, including machines that have never been seen at a TAPP event before! It’s a fantastic chance to try something new and experience machines from different eras.
Our community is always happy to help newcomers with questions and tips, so if you’re new to pinball, this is the perfect chance to learn, improve, and have a great time with like-minded people.
The excitement continues the following day with the 2024 TAPP State Finals! The top 16 players from 2024 will compete for the title of IFPA Tasmania State Pinball Champion. While only the qualified players can compete, everyone is welcome to spectate, cheer each other on, and enjoy the social side of the event. Watching the competition is also a great way to learn and get inspired!
2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for pinball—don’t miss out on the fun!

What a fantastic way to wrap up TAPP’s inaugural year! We had a great turnout of 21 players, with plenty of friendly competition and great energy throughout the day. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable and memorable event.
We started the day with a fun Barrel Ball competition for a special prize – a pinball playfield! The atmosphere was fantastic, with plenty of laughs, great gameplay, and the chance to share some food and good times together.
