Welcome to TAPP

Tasmania's home of competitive pinball. We run fortnightly tournaments across Hobart, open to players of every level — whether you're here for the competition, the community, or just to play some great machines. Our events are IFPA-endorsed, with results feeding into the Tasmanian ACS standings and the pathway to state finals. New players are always welcome.

TAPP is community-driven and barrier-free — no membership fee, no sign-up, no ongoing commitment. Just show up and play. We're a group of people who love pinball and believe in sharing that love, whether you're a seasoned competitor chasing ranking points or picking up the hobby for the first time.

Thursday night in Lenah Valley delivered something a little different for the TAPP community — our first ever weeknight event in a home setting, and by all accounts it was a great one. Twenty-four players made the trip out to a private residence in the Valley for an evening of matchplay qualifying, Amazing Race finals, and a barrel ball competition that is always one of the highlights of the night. …

Thursday night at Deep South Brewing Co. brought another strong TAPP turnout, with 27 players lining up for a full evening of Max Match Play. We were just one shy of matching our record weeknight crowd of 28, and it was great to see a few new faces jump in and get straight into the mix.

Massive thanks to Deep South Brewing Co. for hosting us, and to AMD for the prize support. Also a big shout-out to Bennet McComish for bringing along and helping set up Guardians of the Galaxy for the night - it added a great extra game to the lineup and was much appreciated. …
